Prints Now Available!

Each masterfully made and archival quality print is produced on highest quality paper with amazing color fidelity. They are available for purchase through my studio, as either framed or un-framed works.

I have added new prints to the current selection and I plan to add a couple more very exciting pieces in the near future.

Soon, I plan to launch a separate website which will be dedicated to my prints. You will be able to view the prints, get details of each piece and even purchase the artwork. Check back for updates!

What's in a Label?

Illa Wine Label
I am no longer showing the wine label project this month, however the limited edition 2005 Pinot Noir is currently being sold in limited quantities at the Corti Brothers Market. More information about the wine and the project located HERE (PDF format; opens in new window)

What's in a Label? an article written by Darrell Corti. A great read about the history of wine labels, art, the Illa wine, and of course the Illa Project.  Click HERE to read the whole story. (PDF format; opens in new window)

Inside the City

Inside the City
One of my works was selected for the cover of a local Sacramento magazine, Inside the City. Inside the City is a monthly publication delivered to thousands of readers living in Sacramento's Land Park, Curtis Park, Hollywood Park, and Woodlake neighborhoods. Click HERE for more information.

The artwork used was "Warm Escape" (24"x24", mixed media on canvas). Inside the City used the image on the cover, and did a small write up on pg.4.

Welcome to my website!
Hello!  Please take a few minutes and look around!  We are still under minor construction, so please bear with me!  Most of the website is pretty much up and ready, but a few things need a little updating.

The gallery link still needs a lot of work, but it should be up real soon. My webmaster is currently putting the final touches on that part of the site.

Color...

“I believe that what we perceive as a visual world is only a phenomenon, repeatedly created by light.  In light, we find the deepest meaning of existence.  Its immateriality is the source of materiality for our senses.  My aim is to change it into colored spots so harmonized that they become the materialization of light, called color.” ~Zbigniew

Studio Update...

May 2009

MUSIC is the theme for a good part of the studio this month.
However I have another BRAND NEW piece from the Cityscapes series on display this month. It measures 40"x40" and is titled "In Search of Sunrise."
Don't miss "Ocean Floor" a sculpture of chicken wire, lights and straws, by Megan Mudge, an art student from Sacramento City College.
I also made changes to "New Day" the 36"x48" piece you might have gotten a sneak peak of last month. "Flowers of the Sea," measuring 60"x48" is still displayed along with a sample selection of my prints.

Hope to see you there!
